Very nice article Alex! I would like to continue to play this deck with paldean fates set, do you have any suggestion? (I was wondering about the Crisis Punch TM and what should I cut in the deck)

Hey Alex, thanks for the writeup! I started playing TCG 5 months ago with Miraidon, but I'm looking to play a deck with a higher skill ceiling. Sablezard seems cool

One question, do you think Sablezard will be greatly impacted by upcoming rotation? Mainly losing Klara, Raihan, escape rope, fog crystal. I've seen some Japanese lists run Mela as a replacement for Raihan

It’s almost always first KO wins. You can theoretically target down jirachi in hopes that they can’t get it back (they will). The going first game plan is to attack with Charizard as often as possible and hope that one time they’re unable to KO or rope around it. Playing Roxanne in that turn can theoretically achieve that.

How would you feel about cutting Pal Pad for the 3rd best ball or cutting ball pad for a jet energy to allow more switching.

It’s something I’ve considered, but you also need to play pidgeot v to make it functional, and cutting vacuum targets/adding more bad opening Pokémon is really rough. Charizard can also get away with not benching any targets if they figure out you don’t play Devo. A decent % if Gardy also play turo, which makes it hard to effectively lock them.

I realy like sablezard of The lz variants but im from Brasil and The most common deck here is garde because is The chepeast deck from The Meta. So in a tournament expecting a lot of Gardevoir, what version of lost box did u recommend? Or none are good against them

Kyogre/Hands is probably what I’d recommend if you’re going to play Lb into Gardy meta, but it’s likely that other decks could just be a better option

Kammerman placed 5th in Laic here in brazin thats The major decks are Gardy, He played sablezard With moon, and nos toped at Liverpool probably With The same deck. Did u know that version? Think that version have advantages against Gardy? And IF it haves, how u think is The strategy tô win using moon

It’s good, but I feel like it’s the least consistent of all of the lost box variants. That many energy with no Greninja is scary

Congrats on your recent success with the deck! As someone who is strongly considering this for Knoxville, are there any other changes you’d make other than rod for klara?

Not yet, but I haven’t really done any testing since Charlotte. List is really tight though, so most changes are going to come at a rough cost.

Edit: Unsure why I’m signed into this account, but oh well. -Alex
