Lugia VSTAR: New BDIF?

A look at my favorite Lugia build

Hello again readers, and welcome back to another article. This one will be my first full entry into the upcoming Silver Tempest format, and naturally, it has to cover the deck that is likely the BDIF in the format. Lugia VSTAR is honestly one of the craziest decks to see the light of day in ages, and I think anyone who is saying the deck isn’t a solid tier one deck just doesn’t understand how powerful of an Ability Archeops has. I would argue that Archeops has the most powerful Ability printed in recent memory that isn’t on a Rule Box Pokemon. Lugia can basically accelerate four Special Energies from the deck every turn starting on its second turn. There’s no way that isn’t going to be very powerful in any format. Let’s jump right into the build I have for you today.
