Gardevoir's Greatness: a NAIC recap

The North American International Championships took place last weekend in New Orleans. With 2692 players in the Masters Division alone, it was the biggest Pokémon TCG tournament of all time outside of Japan (though I think the event itself was bigger than Japan's tournaments, if you account for the VGC, Unite and Go sections). I'm proud to have finished in second place, with a record of 14-2-2. I played Gardevoir ex, which had perhaps its best performance ever: six decks in the top 8 were Gardevoir ex decks, with three more in top 16. Today, I'd like to discuss Gardevoir, explain my decklist and bring those who haven’t played the deck for a while up to speed. I’ll also present the deck I almost played!
